Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 159 is a political subdivision of the State of Texas. The District was created by special act of the 85th Texas Legislature, effective June 12, 2017, codified as Chapter 8003, Texas Special District Local Laws Code. The District operates under Chapters 49 and 54 of the Texas Water Code, Article XVI, Section 59 and Article III, Section 52 of the Texas Constitution. The District lies wholly within the unincorporated area of Montgomery County. Located off Grand Pines Drive, approximately two miles north of FM 2920 and Mueschke Road in Magnolia, the District encompasses roughly 243.207 acres.
